【Physical appearance】Almost colorless to light yellow clear liquid.

【Pharmacological Effect】Pharmacodynamic: Enrofloxacin belongs to a group of the quinolone antibacterials. It has good effects on those bacterial such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Brucella, Pasteurella, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, erysipelas, Proteus, Serratia marcescens, Corynebacterium pyogenes, septicemia Bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, etc. The effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Streptococcus is weak, little effect on anaerobic bacteria. There are obvious anti-bacterial effects on sensitive bacteria. The antibacterial mechanism is applied to bacterial DNA gyrase to interfere with the bacterial DNA replication, transcription and recombination repairing, so the bacterial can not grow, then go to die.

Pharmacokinetics: Most animals take this product internally and absorb it well. The bioavailability of oral for chicken is 62.2%～84%. It is widely distributed in poultry and can well enter tissues and body fluids (including bones). Except for cerebrospinal fluid, the drug concentration of almost all tissues is higher than that in plasma. The process is mainly to remove the ethyl group of 7-piperazine ring to produce ciprofloxacin, followed by oxidation and glucuronide binding. It is mainly excreted by the kidneys (by renal tubular secretion and glomerular filtration), and 15%～50% is excreted from the urine as it is. The elimination half-life of this product is 9.1～14.2 hours.

【Medicine Interactions】(1) This product has synergistic effect when used combined with aminoglycosides or broad-spectrum penicillin.

(2) Heavy metal ions such as Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Fe³⁺ and Al³⁺ can chelate with this product and will affect absorption.

(3) The plasma protein binding rate will be reduced when used combined with theophylline and caffeine, the concentration of theophylline and caffeine in the blood can be abnormally increased, and even symptoms of theophylline poisoning can occur.

(4) This product can inhibit the action of liver drug enzymes, which reduce the clearance rate of drugs that are mainly metabolized in the liver, and increase blood drug concentration.

【Usage and dosage】Mixed drinking: 1L of water, 0.5～0.75ml of this product for poultry.

【Adverse reactions】(1) It will cause degeneration of cartilage to young animals, and affect  the development of bone and cause lameness and pain. (2) Digestive system reactions including loss of appetite and diarrhea.
